Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare engaging online music lessons based on your area of expertise, such as instrument instruction, songwriting, music theory, vocal training, or other music-related topics
- Create a supportive and encouraging virtual environment where students feel comfortable learning and practicing
- Teach live online classes according to the schedule you set
- Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and constructive feedback to help students improve their musical skills
- Adapt lessons to different skill levels, learning styles, and student goals
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge or experience in the subject you want to teach
- Clear and engaging communication skills that help keep students interested
- Good organizational and time-management skills, since you will manage your own classes independently
- Comfortable using online tools and video conferencing platforms
- Reliable, professional, and able to create a positive experience for students
Your earnings are based on the class price you set and the number of students who enroll.
For example, if you charge $10 per student for a 1-hour class and 6 students register, you earn $60 for that class.
Teachers receive 100% of the class price they set. PassionClass adds a 15% technology fee on top of the class price, which is paid by the student.
You have the flexibility to set your own pricing based on your experience, subject, and class format. As enrollment grows, your earning potential can increase with the number of students who join your classes.
